Our Team

Hello!

Climate Wise is an evolving, collaborative educational initiative that has been shaped by the contributions of numerous students, physicians, educators, and advocates over the years. The project is currently stewarded by the Canadian Federation of Medical Students Health and Environment Adaptive Response Taskforce (CFMC HEART) team, who continue to expand and update the resource to reflect emerging evidence in planetary health and climate-conscious healthcare.

Climate Wise was originally founded by Drs. Celia Walker and Nicole Prince from the University of Calgary. The inaugural executive team included Drs. Owen Dan Luo, Ericka Iny, and Tyler Warnock, whose creativity, leadership, and vision helped establish the foundation of the project.

We are deeply grateful to the many students, physicians, educators, advocates, and collaborators who have helped shape, expand, and refine this resource over the years. Contributors include Kavya Anchuri, Chin Vern Tan, Sanjana Sudershan, Jordyn Shaw, Jessica Round, Andrew Schmaus, Mack Blydt-Hansen, Anda Gaita, Tania Morin, Alexander Valerio, Xena Wang, Liam Cooper-Brown, Anne-Sophie Roy, Jessica Benady-Chorney, and Melody Porlier.

We would also like to acknowledge the Canadian Federation of Medical Students Bilingualism Committee for their contributions to the French translation of the Climate Wise Slides.
